Just an ok product

After a few weeks of the campaign, while I appreciate the positive features of the Bodum Pavina (good insulator & no glass sweating) the negative features (too darn slippery and delicate), these glasses just don't work for me. If Bodum could change the exterior feel (rough or etched glass) I'd like them a little more. I just can't recommend them.

Bzz Agent Bodum Glass Review

Ok, so the glasses JUST arrived yesterday. PLUSES: no sweating on the glass; keeps cold things cold (had the windows open yesterday and my icecubes didn't melt for almost 3 hours!); the glass isn't chilly (great for those of us with COLD hands!). MINUSES: They FEEL dainty, like they will break if I look at them wrong (and those of you that know me well know I haven't met a glass I couldn't break); they are SMALL (it's like drinking out of a shot glass - although they do have other sizes). So, as things stand, I like that they keep things cold, wish the sample glasses we were given were larger. Oh, and I can't wait to try a hot bev in them since they're supposed to work for hotsy totsies, too! Stay tuned!

Day 1 of the Lighten Up Wisconsin 100-day Challenge

In yet another quest to get healthier/drop some weight I am participating in the Lighten-Up Wisconsin 100 day challenge. It's only an $18 commitment and I'm hoping blogging about it will help keep me motivated. The goal is to get to 150 by the end.

Got up at 6-ish. Weighed in (183-ugh! but not as bad as it has been). Was shooting for 20 minutes of Wii Fit Plus but wound up with 30 (adding in the cool down). Next day for Wii Fit will be Saturday or Sunday. Trying not to overdo and upset the Fibro. I'm off to wake the Little Miss.
